
United Methodist Youth Fellowship (6-12th grades)
PGUMC youth is a place where we want embrace Jesus for ourselves and others. We want to do this by creating an environment where youth are loved, encouraged, and inspired for the sake of our families, schools, and world!
Weekly Youth Events
Youth Group: Sunday night from 5-7 pm Dinner/ Games/ Lesson/ Service
Youth Sunday School: 10 am in the youth room
Volunteer Opportunities
After school Thursday: 4:45-5:15 at the church Come and read to kids or help with math homework
September 14th: 8am Church Clean Up
September 21st: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm Volunteering at the Durham Food bank
October 12th: Gleaning Sweet Potatoes

Loving Thy Neighbor – YOUTH MISSIONS Last Year:
· 96 letters to military personnel
· 98 flood buckets & 25 hygiene kits for flood victims
· $716 to OCIM – Halloween Carnival
· 6500+ meals packed for Rise Against Hunger
· Adopted family with 6 kids for Christmas
· Cleaned church including windows, vacuuming, baseboards, and youth room
· Souper Bowl Sunday – $660 for OCIM
· 30 Hour Famine - $5300 to World Vision to fight hunger
· Spreading mulch in the church playground
· $1700 to OCIM - A Walk For Hunger - Winner of Silver Sneaker Award (2nd Place)
· $4800 + raised through Relay For Life for the American Cancer Society (2nd Place)
